im about to book flights to Christchurch about 18th june and back 3-4th july, will it be ok to come back from christchurch on the 3-4th??  hope ur still having a gd time

Fab new photos, looks like you are having a ball. Your pics bring back happy memories, Fraser Island is a fantastic place. Can't wait to hear all about what you have done there. Things here are good. Lara is totally fab. She looks just like Alexander, and so far, seems like a pretty easy going wee thing so I am sure when you babysit for us it will be ok... I am feeling well, and stu is on the mend after the birth too! Nose being reset next week so another couple of black eyes after that! Think it will be the hilarity and slagging that will take longer to die down. Anyhoo, keep the updates coming, and liberal with the suntan lotion you peelywally scottish boy.

Congratulations, Uncle Philip, you done good! Another lovely wee girl. Perhaps she will call you Uncle Turtle seeing as the announcement of her arrival is right next to the cute turtle pic. We had one good day skiing at Cairngorm and have now viewed Sanday's new home in Inverness. It is much more comfortable than the garden shed so he is moving in immediately now that we have supplied beds and some eating utensils. Even us oldies managed a cool night out on the town. How exciting to go to Pizza Express and buy a heater from Morrisons... far cry from Alyth. Superb new set of photos; I was very interested to see the empty nest with discarded shells everywhere (shades of Drumderrach, when i think about it.. 3 turtles away now!) Not everyone would have thought to take that pic and that's what made it so good. Your new camera seems to have a better sense of level horizons or is that too much working and not enough alcohol time? Good luck with next leg ( of journey). We await further tales of adventure, more turtles, less sharks! Love from The Hil..  ......

Dude i just looked through your photos and the queensland album is hilarious, i rofloled gd. "the office", "skippy get out the water"! haha and that looked like a hefty lot of trees you loaded up! Before you were farmer boy. But, after the impressive work you have shown, out in the field, i'm promoting you to "Farmer-Man!". Your super powers include: super strenght, super-log-cutting, and saying "ooh arrrr" all day while chewing a straw!

This is first time in ages I have been able to read your chat as blinking laptop has finally given up the ghost completely - have had regular updates from your mum and jen though. I will try and call soon as about to get your mobile number too. Oz looks amazing and I am pleased you have found a job so easily.

All quiet here - until Monday...baby time for Locket. Angus had a great 4th party - too many presents and chocolate cake meant we had a very excited boy. Poppy has been pukey (!!!) again! She was sick all over Cento Tre which was very embaressing - then followed it up the next day next to the fish counter in the supermarket. Mortifying! Hey ho. Will bore you with more duff chat on the phone... Did you see the rugby last week. We wish we had been on the other side of the world. Scotland were hopeless. Atleast England got duffed too! G’day mate!  Looks like you're having a great time down under.  I see you've made it to Bundaberg. I highly recommend you dropped by the rum distillery for two very good reasons.  For one Bundaberg rum is about the most Australian thing you can find in Australia.  And to its a very cheap place to buy it.  Australians drink rum like Scots drink Whisky so get yourself acquainted, although I be very much surprised if you hadn't already.  I hope you're enjoying the beer in Queensland one's schooner should only be filled with XXXX.  The reason I'm talking about alcohol so much is that given it up for Lent.  Oh dear I think I may have gone mad but the bets are mounting up so I can't afford to fail.  Ben

hey phil. hope things r going great over in oz. looks like ur having a good time if the photos from the irish game r anything to go by. How long u staying there? things in glasvegas r ok except monday night had a bit of an accident. had a little encounter with...my hall floor couple nights ago. i passed out (wasn't even drunk, just light-headed) and regained consciousness with a totalled face. went to hospital and they don't think my nose is broken, but badly bruised and i've cut the inside of my lip really badly. carpet burns all over the shop. generally was not looking too pretty. tho now feeling a lot better and i look acceptable to go out in public again. haha. laters, craig xxx
