Sounds like you're having a great time, Noosa sounds really good. The 'parrots flying off into the distance' story made me laugh. Congratulations on becoming an uncle again (or even more of an uncle.. or an uncle two someone else.. or something like that).

 Good Morning Inspector, how are all the little plates today? 2 weeks sounds long enough and Maria will get over it, I'm sure. Inga is off to ski North America this week and Sanday has booked to join you in N.Z., but I'm sure you know that.Will be off for 3 weeks to enjoy Spring (snowing yesterday). Mike and I are headed for Uist to see our new concrete floor, such an exciting life! Look forward to your updates while your Mum and Jenny are over. Bet you are going to have such a great time. Some excellent photos there Phil- love the thought you have put into capturing those all importnat Titanic/ model poses, keep em coming! I am sure the skills you are learning as an 'underwater ceramic inspector' will come in highly useful in your student days. Looks like you are having a fab time- I am soo jealous, though I am going on my own mini adventure next week- Megabus-ing it all the way to London and back with my flatmate- should certainly be an experience! xx p.s don't forget the suncream- us natural peely wallys must be careful!

Your trip to Fraser Island brings back great memories, it is a really special place. We got lost twice there! Can I com back with you!!! Have a great time in Noosa. I remember a nice cocktail bar there.

G'day mate! Glad to see you had a great time on Frazer Island possibly one of the cool places in the world.  Rory and I spent five days there and loved every minute of it.  Now the big question is did you get a stuck?  We got stuck nine times however I think your 4x4 was probably a bit more matcho than ours.

 

If you're heading on to Noosa I would highly recommend staying at the Halse Lodge Guesthouse YHA.  It's only two weeks till I will be out in Oz.  Looking forward to seeing you out there.
