It's nearly all over for this month. I have managed to pick up some work for next week back in Blighty, for three weeks. So I will leave Toronto on my original flight on the 20th; arriving in London on the 21st. I will be getting the helicopter out to the Heather platform on the 22nd. It would be nice to finish early and be able to get back here for thanksgiving. Hopefully I will get a feel for how much work there is likely to be (over the winter) while on this ...

The autumn has arrived in Ontario... The temperature is constantly in the low twenties now and I do need to go and visit the shops once more; for long sleeved apparel. I had my last dentist appointment yesturday and the diagnosis is that one of my wisdom teeth is pushing against a couple of others and that is causing me pain. At least there is nothing wrong with the teeth and I can battle on for a few more months until I need to get the WT taken out. We're off ...

I haven't really been doing much exploring since I have been here. A few really fun days and nights with Emma's family; though I haven't met the brothers yet! That's going to be interesting I suspect. I've had a bit of a tooth problem for a few months and decided to get it checked out this week. I have had a couple of appointments, lots of x-rays, cleaning, prodding, poking, scarping and a couple of hefty invoices... But so far, no sign of the cause of the tooth...

I haven't been up to much 'tourist' stuff over the last couple of days... Pretty much just been shopping for clothes. I did actually go to the mall unsupervised yesterday and buy some (what I thought were) nice clothes! but was politely told/requested that I think I needed to do some more shopping ... at a different store!
