Today we were being big kids again as we decided to head back to the indoor theme park in the shopping centre that we had been at yesterday. Nick got talking to two girls at the hostel Alice and Katie who were surprisingly from the same village as Nick back in the UK and also exactly the same age and we all agreed that it would pass some of the time this morning. Alice and Katie went to the girls school and Nick went to a private boys school so didn't know each other but knew a lot of the same people.
I didn’t know any of them so obviously felt a bit left out of the discussions of "Do you know xxx?", “Really, then you must know xxx?”
We stayed at the theme park for a few hours, drabbed some lunch and then headed back to the hostel, as Alice, Katie and I had agreed to share a taxi to the airport at 15:00 as we all had flights to catch and it worked out cheaper than 3 bus tickets and was definitely as lot more convenient.
I had pre-booked a hostel in Singapore again on the recommendation of Richard from Phuket Town as he stayed in the area and had told me that it was easy to get to on the train from the airport and in a fairly cheap area for food (as long as you like Indian food). The hostel was in the Little India area of Singapore and, it had 28 beds in one big room but was highly rated on Hestelworld.com and had a bar below which played live music every night.
