Today we went to the Himba people's
village.We met lots of people.The Himba people cover themselves in ocre. Ocre is red, browny crashed red rock with water.They cover themselves with it every day.They also put this black perfume over their neck and it smells like charcoal and butter. The lady's do their hair with clay and frizz up the bottom. They do a hand shake and these are the words that they say "Morro, perivi, nowa." Once the lady's are married they start to put butter and herbs then put on charcoal so it melts then burn it onto their skin. After the beautiful visit we drove to Etosha National Park. We saw some lions in the distance, ostriches, wildebeest, impala, and black back jackals! It was really fun!!!! We are staying at ENP for two more days!
