Staff training is over!!! Tonight, I find myself blogging from a friends house in queens: after a haircut from a barber with more tattoos than plain skin I'm watching bridesmaids on the couch (hence why I'm blogging). Yesterday started with lesson planning for the high ropes. We had five weeks of planning to do in one day so I was swapping between turning into a sweatball on the climbing wall in 40*c heat and writing up plans. - not very interesting I guess......

Hey! Wow, what a boring last couple of days its been, its gonna take some magic to turn it into something readable so, here it goes.... Ive spent the past two days on my butt... all day... learning about sexual harrassment, racism, company policy, counselling methods - the lot! It makes me never want to work with children again! I suppose there has been some fun dispersed among the drool - watching the sun setting whilst kayaking on the ocean has got to be one...

Woah... another packed couple of days at Camp! I became a ropes course instructor yesterday after 3 days of climbing walls, swinging from 40ft and scaling 40ft obstacles! So will be entrusted with making sure 80-90 kids dont fall to their death for the next 8weeks. Last Night we went to a very.... very traditional church in Montauk who put on the most amazing BBQ! But the best time so far would be going to True North community church for their Sunday morning s...

Wow!!! Two days of staff training and im absolutely exhausted! Ive finally found a small break in it all to relax and write... Where to start? Well currently we're working from 7:45 - 10pm... which is insane! Currently a few of 'us staff' are being trained as rope course instructors so I have been running around high/ low ropes, scaling 40ft walls and throwing myself off them - which is kinda fun! Also team building activities, and some less fun sitting down lea...
