Pete and Lou's Big Adventure
To be honest we didnt have much feeling about the west coast before we got here. After we left Queenstown and w***a we were feeling abit bummed as it felt like we were on our way back if you like....the return journey.
When we got to the glaciers however our mood soon changed. We were back to being little kids and not grumpy adults. The glaciers were mind-blowing....i have never seen anything like it before. Best thing we could go really close. Its amazing how much they move and you can see it.....brillant. Fox Glacier and Franz Joesph another must for NZ in our opinon.
So here we were meant to see that fab view of Mt cook........im afraid its just not too be. The cloud was too low once again. Boo!!!! We had too settle for a postcard instead! Hopefully next time.
We were going to west port on the west coast but the roads were closed due to land slides so we went to Greymouth instead. We didnt get too do much here as the weather turned really nasty and everyone was advised not too go anywhere unless they really needed too so we didnt!
