I´m now back in Cusco and have successfully completed the Inca Trail. It was one of te best things I´ve done - the sights and experiences were incredible. I´m now going to start the long task of updating for the past 10 days or so. So much has happened, I´m bound to miss out some bits though.
Pete
I´ve arrived in Copacabana, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. I´ll watch the Liverpool game this afternoon and tomorrow morning will visit Isla Del Sol, where there are some old Inca ruins. It should be a good pretext to the Inca Trail, which starts in Cuzco in two days. I leave tomorrow afternoon, arriving in Cuzco tomorrow night.
I have loads of photos, several memory cards worth, but just haven´t found a computer good enough to spend the time uploading. Will try to do it soon though.

Hey mate,
Told you it was cold before the Sun comes up. The places are starting to sound familiar, the adobe villages, finger puppets etc....
Keep up the stories bro, fascinating to read and great to hear from you.

The diaries are now up to date and pictures will follow soon. The location of La Paz on the front map seems to be a bit wrong, blame Google generated map, not me.

I´ve moved on from Potosi and am now in Sucre, Bolivia. It seems a nice city but I think I´ll get the overnight bus tomorrow to La Paz.
The internet is really slow and annoying so will wait a bit longer before I update my diaries more. Looks like I´ll have to spend a whole day updating with all this backlog!

I´ve been off the radar for a week or so but am now in Uyuni, Bolivia, heading to Potosi tonight. The desert sights were cool and will update soon with diaries and pictures to follow.

Hey Pete! Good to see that you're keeping up with your blog. It's sounds like you're having a great time. Keep having fun & keep us posted with all your antics!! ;)

I haven´t experienced the dodgy drivers yet, that´s still to come in the next few days, from San Pedro De Atacama to Uyuni, in Bolivia. San Pedro is where I´m heading to tonight, on another night bus. Should be fun!
Have uploaded some more photos and a video too.
Pete.

Hya Pete,
It's a shame about your lonely planet, but what goes around comes around I guess. Hope you caught some sleep on your journey and the 'quality of the driver' was good!
Miss you xxx
Pete
I leave for La Serena tonight, about 8 hours drive north through the desert. More photos will come soon.

Right,
I'm now in Valparaiso in Chile. It seems a cool town and I'm looking forward to going from small town to small town, up the coast. Hope all is well with all.
