Pete Okay, time for an update. I´m due to leave Rio in a couple of days and I´ll be heading up to the Brazilian north-east coast. I´ll come back to Rio in a month to fly back to the UK at the start of September. I hope to update the website as much as poss soon to get up-to-date, as well as put lots of pics up. I´m having a great time out here, hope all is well back in the UK.

Rob S Pete if you can do a convincing salsa for me when you get back i'll down 2 pints and stand on my head for 5 minutes. You haven't got an ounce of rhythm in ur body whitey!! Those people saying you were good must be taking the pee... p.s. i've had to bin off my oz plans for later in life. I'm buying a house instead, things have changed and its the right thing to do. Pete I´m leaving Cusco tonight, bound for Arequipa. I´ve had a fantastic time here, Cusco is a great place. I´ve met some really nice people as well as completing the Inca Trail. I´ll try to update and email people as soon as poss. Updating takes ages! Not to mention uploading photos!!

Guy Hi mate Long time no hear. Good to see you up sticks. Hope you're enjoying your travels/ Where are you off to next and are you still in Cuzco? Let me know mate, was there a coupls of years ago and knwo of some good venues and things to do. Enjoy your trip and good luck.

Dave Hey Pete,  Looking forward to reading all about the Inca trail.  I have a couple of days holiday now as a mate from U of I is coming to visit.  Much needed after some long hours at work.  Enjoy the bars / clubs of Cusco...if I remember correctly its 3 large rum and cokes for 10 Soles. Dave

Pete I´m now back in Cusco and have successfully completed the Inca Trail. It was one of te best things I´ve done - the sights and experiences were incredible. I´m now going to start the long task of updating for the past 10 days or so. So much has happened, I´m bound to miss out some bits though.

Pete I´ve arrived in Copacabana, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. I´ll watch the Liverpool game this afternoon and tomorrow morning will visit Isla Del Sol, where there are some old Inca ruins. It should be a good pretext to the Inca Trail, which starts in Cuzco in two days. I leave tomorrow afternoon, arriving in Cuzco tomorrow night. I have loads of photos, several memory cards worth, but just haven´t found a computer good enough to spend the time uploading. Will try to do it soon though.
