It is another beautiful day. Slept for 11 hours last night. Think my back and neck might be out. Will try and get some treatment this afternoon. Out for our morning ride. Have ridden past this sign a number of times on the Les Baux climb but previously been on a mission. As you can see St Remy has everything the modern traveller requires.

Peter and I are enjoying an al-fresco dinner in one of the small laneways in Saint-Remy-de-Provence. We have been past the laneway where this place is previously and thought it looked nice. Pizza and wine tonight. The pizzas here are Italian style - thinner bases with tasty but scant topping. Tres bonne! This is the colour of the sky at 7:30pm. Blue all day! Carol

Sunflowers dominate the fields at this time of year. We were riding out to Pont du Gard using the Garmin for directions. We were at the point that the road signs were directing us to it. With about 10K to go it sent us off course. After another 10K we had 12K to go. Because it was pushing 40 degrees we turned back and headed home. 75K for the round trip.
