Like Tourmalet you are struggling along and you turn a corner looking up for the next corner and literally stumble on the finish.

Am disappointed in my ride. Had hoped to do better. After all whilst steeper it is only slightly more than half Ventoux.

For a climb like this you need fresh legs and more importantly the right mental preparation.

Climbing ultimately becomes as much mental as physical. I had not prepared myself mentally because this was shorter.
