blistered feet already from lots of walking yesterday. Now In the forbidden city which is massive and packed with tourists. Caroline has started her souvenir shopping already!

Managed to book our train to Xian yesterday after luckily finding a guard who spoke English. We'll be setting off for there Thursday PM.

We're off to the Great Wall tomorrow if we can navigate the correct buses.

Gingers are a novelty here, Caroline has had pictures with a few enthusiastic, Chinese teenagers and a baby already.
