Hello All,

Just a little update from Kuala Lumpur, where we are here for 1 night and 1 night only, en route to our last and final stop - India! Not a lot to report other than we have had a lovely time, relaxing on the beach for the past 2 weeks and getting badly sunburnt thanks to our Malaria tablets side-effects - which is why if anyone is wondering, Peder looks like a tomato in most of the pictures! Sadly we never made it to a full moon party in Ko Phangnan but nevertheless enjoyed the buckets of spirits you can mix yourself for 3 pounds! Needless to say these did not last long with Peder in the vicinity!

We have had several stressful "run-ins" recently with various Thai men and women who we have had slanging matches with over being ripped off. Most recently some Thai man told us to go "F ourselves and our mums," to which he received an equal amount of abuse from us as a result. Rach was also nearly hit by a Thai man, when she tried to ask for a receipt and things became heated, at which stage Peder had to step in and the Thai man be restrained by his friend! Naturally Rach has adopted an even fiercer approach when dealing with Thai men, who like to clap and click their fingers at here when asking her a question. Consequently Rach has started doing the same back to them, which they find particularly amusing. Needless to say on pretty much a daily basis we have some sort of increasingly ridiculous spat with someone and have made very VERY few local friends!

Despite various warnings Peder and I are now looking forward to whatever challenges India may bring and are fully prepared! However I think we may just check ourselves into an Indian palace for 3 weeks and you will hear from us on our return!

Before we catch our flight to India tomorrow we are going to fit in a quick visit to the Petronas Towers (2nd highest building in world) viewing deck and most excitedly for Rach - she found a Topshop in a lovely swish mall underneath the Towers, which she tells me she will be spending the rest of the time before the flight, as she buys up the shop and saves a fortune!

Will update from India soon - to relay how bad Peder contracts 'Delhi Belly' and how Rach is coping with her anger management strategies, as an Indian man trys to tell her he can make better clothes than the new Topshop ones she has just purchased!
