my only hope is that for $10.00 it will break in a very short time-and then you can get back to reading in the rain again, as a good girl should.

A moral pickle! Now that is distressing. I love reading of your adventures and seeing your pictures too. Simply lovely sunsets. You do have a good eye for photos.
Elephants in January are a go!
Save the turtles!

I am totally in agreement with the peanut butter situation. I have bought the expensive stuff from the import section of the local grocery store; Trust Mart. It takes so good after a couple weeks of noodles and rice. Glad to see pics of Mr. Cena! Poor guy. Have fun exploring. I'm hiking the local mt. peaks tomorrow.

Hey!!
I am so glad to hear your doing well and loving your travels. You'd be so proud of me: December 25th - LONDON for me!! Then Scotland, then Belgium!!! THEN (oh yes, it gets better) home for two weeks and hopping a plane to SYDNEY! The airfare is all booked, and I'm gettng super excietd. Your stories are making me brave enough to try it on my own (notice it's all English speaking countries - except Belgium, but I think their English is no where near our English.) I'll keep you posted, and I'll do a little travel blog like you. Miss you!!

Hi there! This message is to say, "I want more journal entries!" Us old folks live on this sort of thing! I've gotten past the 'worry' stage but am stuck in the curious stage. We celebrated Stadium High School's 100th anniversary this week-end. We took a 94 yr.old man who was the last man off the original Narrows Bridge. He is very articulate and still has night-mares. He was a photo. for the Tacoma paper, and when the bridge started whipping so badly he crawled off having to leave his hysterical dog in his car. The car & dog went down with the bridge. Cliff was badly skinned on his legs and hands but made it! S.H.S. put on quite a party! 800 cannons went off repeatedly that night and we heard it from here! Love you smuch! G'ma

Natalie!!! You're having way too much fun! I'm completely utterly jealous in every aspect of you. I can't help but remember when you said, "Hey, you should come with me!!! It would be so much fun!". But yet I said, "No." and now look...I'm depressed that I didn't say yes! Well, happy adventures and take care...

Hey girlie. I thought I'd leave you a message here too. Just caught up with some of your entries since I lost all my links (well all my photos on my computer, too - due to stupid computer failure). Anyway, glad to hear you're having a good time down south. Crazy that Julie is in Okinawa (that's where my dad's side of the family comes from, she'll probably see a restaurant or store with my last name on it - according to one of my uncles there's a place with our last name).

So you have joined the 'barf-o-rama' club! Lucky you! I"m glad you and P. were traveling together and could take care of each other. That was me in Mongolia one night. I was certainly glad I was in a hotel and not in a yurt. I haven't looked at the photos yet, but certainly hope there is one of Mr. Dinner, traveling in a bag. Sounds like a great trip. My thrill is that I have met three of my Chinese aquaintances while walking down the street here. I ran into my Chinese friends! Just like home.
Enjoy, Enjoy!
Love, M.

Well, I am embarrassed to admit that I just found all your blogs from the other cities besides your favorite, Panajachel, or whatever. People kept commenting in my mail about how cool it was that you have seen all these cool pyramids, bugs, snails, monkeys, and I kept reading and only seeing the city stuff and thinking, "what bugs, pyramids and monkey!" So today, I sat down and devoted the last couple hours to figuring out the website and looking under all headings and downloading all cool pictures (this hook up is slow) and now I feel complete. And boy have you been busy! You are a walking Discovery Channel, babe! Hard to compete with your adventure there.
Well, I ate silkworms and jelyfish!!!!
Sounds great. Keep in touch.

I love parasitic shirts.
That is so cool about Julie and your Mom. I have a friend who just recently got back from Mongolia.
:) I hope you're well.

Hi Natalie.......Thank you for getting back to me re your Mother being kicked out of China. I'm glad they let her back. When did you lose your camera? Where did you hurt your ankle? If you are lying around, you have the opportunity to add to your journal. I have the last entry as the 30th. Do I sound like a mother? Wellll...
Love you smuch
