Ola everyone! We have landed! From Ecuador to Columbia just a few days ago and can we just say Cartagena is B-eautiful! The weather is weally weally humid and hot especially whilst standing around in museums with no air con whatsoever!! There are very little tourists here in Columbia and it´s really weird being surrounded by locals instead of Gringos (except for Juanito of course!!). Yesterday we were taken around the Old town of Cartagena to watch the 100s of locals dressed up in their carnival gear all ages, I even got to cuddle 3 little cuties (not getting broody I promise!!). We´re off to our first ever volcano crater mud-dipping session tomorrow and then to sleep in hammocks for the next couple of nights -all this romance is wonderful heehee!!
Mama y Papa, so lovely to hear from you we´re sorry that we havent managed to call you and Mum y Dad Bryantito this time round, the cost is sky high so thought a ikkle message to say that we´re missing you everyday and love hearing what you´ve been up to. The fireworks sound fab- Beck also sent a lovely message on hotmail saying they werent as loud as last years bangers so that means that Juanito and Paulita will just have to arrange something REALLY loud for next year!! Paps, you are obviously, as usual working way too hard you keeping Mum awake at night again??!!! - Hope your cold is getting better every second, im sure Nurse Mama will be doing a great job looking after you in between the singing! Mama hope Jon´s reply after your fun Spanish message gave you a few hints of what you could beam over to South America for Christmas (haha!).
Luke, we loved your message you and James just seem to get sweeter everyday how many girlfriends have you got now?!! Becks, made me laugh with your certain things you cant mix.. oooh (never mind Shaunie!!!) The lingo learning has stalled a little at the mo with all these new places to see but we have to get some more revision in before we start the next 2 weeks in Santiago, Chile!
MyD Bry, Kir, Grandad and NyG Bry, sending you lots of hugs and hoping that all is well with you and everyone in Nuneaton and Kent? J&I are doing loads of exploring and just loving every minute : ) Gillie, have you started the decorating for Chrimbo yet?? We saw a perfect white tinsely, reindeer display in a shop yesterday would fit wonderfully in your front garden!
Hey Vick, sending you huge huggles and lots a love : )
Em, you back in Japan yet? Did you get my hotmail message?? Not sure if I have the correct address?
Daniel, Im guessing that Melv is distracting you in the office with his jokes and slippers? If Melv comes out he´ll obviously have to bring Gill so she can give him a slap each time the jokes get really bad (most of the time, like his son´s!!).
Mezzer we´ll be giving all the advice you need to know about the big ice cream shaped country and we´d LOVE to meet up with you guys date and venue tbc!
Rie y Stew, how´s life back in UK? Looking fwd to exchanging wild and wonderful experiences of travels next year!
Mayra, thank you for your message, sorry we´re not talented enough in the lingo to respond yet! Hope all is well, please send our love to Auntie Nattie, David and Chris.
Ken and Kellie, how´s life in Canada? We´re really looking fwd to visiting in 2006 ; )
Guess better sign off now before I wear the keyboard out!!

Hiya darls! Sorry just watched Neighbours!! Hope you are ok and had a good weekend? We've been eating too mucho! Mavis & Julie took me out to lunch today after their piano exams, just hope they pass or they'll be demanding their money back! Went to Becks on Sat for fireworks with the boys. They really enjoyed them and were very concerned for our safety. Fireworks were a bit disappointing but chilli was scrummy! 2 Gs came too and we enjoyed a lovely evening, wish you 2 had been here too -next year!!? We took Amanda to dinner on Fri eve so now need to diet. We're meeting Linda and Richard on Sat so no hope of that. Papa has a bit of a cold and has usual sexy voice which gets him lots of sympathy so I'm off to choir practice by myself again. Am just sending Christmas eve invites out do you want to come? Only joking! Everyone including you 2 has bought all their Christmas pressies I seem to get more behind every year that's why I need to diet I hear you saying! Enjoyed your last pics. Hope to send you some soon. Till then take care of each other Loadsa Love MyP xxx

Hey Paula and John! I'm so sorry that this is my very first posting. I have finally had some time to sit down and really delve in to your website. You guys are amazing! I am sorry to hear that you will be leaving SA in February as Todd and I are really thinking about the Spring for a trip down there. I guess you will just have to give us all the advice you can if we can actually make this trip happen. If you are going to be in the states let me know and I will do my best to come and meet you. You guys sound like you are having an incredible time and it is so nice to be able to share it with you through the e-mails and the photos. Keep taking care of each other and keep the e-mails coming. Love, Meredith

Just wanted to say hi.

Seguid disfrutando. Un besazo

Hope everyone is fine back in the cold of the English winter. Everything is cool here.
M&P C - great message. We put it through the translation site anyway and it said you were giving us a recipe for Xmas pudding. Thanks anyway!!!
Thanks to Ken for the message from Vancouver. Hope when we see you and Kellie it will still be the boarding season and we will have to get in training for that severe sounding hike.
We are here in our final week in Quito. We have had a great time but have severe itchy feet and roll on Cali, Colombia on Friday. Before that we are going to Banos (for the hot baths and exploding volcanoe), Riobamba for the devils nose train ride (on the top of a train going fast straight down a mountain) and Mindo for waterfalls (a 40m jump which s***ss me up just thinking of it) and a butterfly farm (for Pausie). So a hectic few days ahead as they are all between 2 and 5 hours bus ride from Quito. We finished the first two weeks spanish school on friday and it is amazing how much you can learn in 2 weeks (40 hours). Need to keep practicing for the next 3 weeks before our next school down in Santiago (another 2 weeks). My accent (JB) is though particularly bad!! Also just got back a few hours ago from visiting the "Mittad del Mundo" ie the middle of the world. It was quite wierd standing with your feet either side of the equator and conducting these experiments showing the water go straight down instead of clockwise (for the southern hemisphere) and anti-clockwise (for the northern hemisphere).
