Day 24 Early bike ride around tiny Iluka then took the bikes on the river ferry to nearby village of Yamba. First a visit to the local bike shop as Raechel had a puncture to fix. Lunch was the best pies ever! Ferry back to Iluka in the rain, decided to have some lazy time in the van reading. The view to the water on sunset just magnificent. Did a spot of fishing in the river. Dinner tonight avocado with local fresh cooked sand crab and king prawns on the jetty ...

Day 23 Early morning jog and swim at Lennox Beach then on the road south through Ballina and Evans Head stopping at laid back village of Iluka on the mighty Clarence River. Paul has friends here Trev and Deb who joined us at the van park for beers on a beautiful sunset. Then off to the local pub with Trev and Deb for dinner. Very charming and rustic!
