Tin Can Wanderings
Last here two years ago. Apart from the drinking fountain no longer functioning, nothing's changed. Lots of vans, several of them bearing GB plates. Warm and sunny, lots of tired looking cafés and restaurants and tourist shops festooned with beachwear.
Stopped on our way here at Huelva in Spain to fill with diesel at €1.342 ltr (the cheapest elsewhere in Spain is at least €1.38 ltr) and LPG at €0.77 ltr. At today's exchange rate (€1.18 to the £) that works out at £1.137 ltr, about .28p ltr less than the UK price for diesel.
19 April. Left the coast going inland to Béja. Stopped for coffee break after 70km in 55 minutes, during which time we overtook 1 lorry and were overtaken by 3 cars.
