A mixed weather day. We've had heavy rain, strong winds and sun. TomTom as usual grossly misled us, taking us far out of our way. I really don't know how they get away with such dreadful mapping. The Aires Book of Spain and Portugal isn't beyond reproach, either. On several occasions it's descriptions have been wildly inaccurate. We left Tui in brilliant sunshine and arrived here in the rain. A nice little aire, the sea 50 meters in front of us through the palm trees. Back in Tui. Last here early March 2010. A nice little town - we walked round and visited the cathedral - it has an excellent tapas bar - La Jamoneta. The tapas here are the largest I've seen. With a glass of beer and a glass of wine costing €3.45 we each got a plate with a fried egg and a tomato based sauce plus a large bread roll.
