Very little sleep for us last night. Today is a Public Holiday in Germany and last night the youth population gathered near our Stellplatz to celebrate the approaching narcoleptic near-death experienced on Public Holidays when nothing, but nothing, moves. The shouted conversations ebbed and flowed through the small hours only abating when the taxis and minibuses arrived shortly before 05:00 to take the bellowing boys and squealing girls to their well earned rest.
Pleystein is a tiny town with a pleasant small Stellplatz offering vidange and free water. Being a holiday almost everywhere is shut but we did find a restaurant open and had an excellent alcohol free beer - it being one of our fasting/alcohol free days.
I have had an emailed response to my phone call to the Leeds BS and must somehow now download and print-off yet another application form. Despite my repeatedly telling the woman who took my call at the Leeds that there is nowhere to physically post a form to us, she has repeated the offer. I doubt if we will find anywhere here to print-off the form so it may mean a return to yesterday's stop - some 35 miles back -where there was a largish post office, a library and a Tourist Office any of which may be able to help. All this because of inefficiency. But whose?. The Leeds or Royal Mail. It's an awful experience dealing with either.
