More Chilling at the Lake
As one man leaves another enters my life!
David left this morning. I spent the whole day ticking off all the things on my to do list. Here it is:
1. Buy bus ticket for La Paz tomorrow
After that was all done I ladled copious amounts of sunscreen on me as my whole (exposed) body has either turned to leather or is flaking off me (my nose I'm sure would win in a Rudolf lookalike competition!), and wandered around again, with my book. I have read 25 books (at a guess - I can tell you the real figure later) since I've been travelling and my kindle is an absolute godsend! It keeps me company when I go into restaurants alone, occupies me on long bus journeys and allows me to fall asleep easily.
I LOVE this place. I feel so content and happy. I think this means I need to, eventually, live next to water of some sort. I feel so chilled out.
Oh yeah, the other man! I was doing my chilling out in a bar/restaurant overlooking the beach when at 6pm ish along walked James (from the jungle)! I shouted hi and talked him into staying at my hostel cos it's great. Which he did. And now we're going out for a few drinks!
James is 27 and just lovely. We chatted and chatted for hours about all sorts of things, then said our goodbyes as we're both leaving in the morning.
Late night 1130pm!!
