Aloha all
At the moment I'm traveling on my 3rd week. Hawaii is fantastic and the weather is awesome. Everything is going chill back and relaxing. Everyday it's 86F = 30C. Not everyday but we had some scattered showers last week, but it's still nothing at all.
At day 2 I had another sad moment. I borrowed a bike from the son of my mother and went to Chinatown. That became my fatal mistake, cause in 45 min the bike was stolen . The bike was locked, but probably it wasn't good locked at all. Normally in Holland I always lock the bike good, but maybe I was bit to relax, but consequences was huge
There were some other things happened with that bike. If you have a bike in Hawaii, it has to be register. If you don't do that, then the fine can be high. On the bike there was a sticker and it was registered. But it wasn't under the name of the son of my mother's cousin. He bought that bike from a girl that left Hawaii months ago. She went to the mainland, but she has never told to the son of my mother's cousin about registration.
So if you want to go to the police to make a statement of a stolen bike, but the bike isn't register under the name of...then it's useless. Maybe she has stolen that bike from someone else or other things what could be in your disadvantage. So that risk to make a statement I will let it go. I don't want to make any trouble, cause I'm staying only for 3 weeks.
So from now on I have to take the bus or I have to walk to do activities. It's pity that I haven't a bike, cause it's fine to do that. If you take the bus, it could be a bit longer and about the time: they aren't accurate about it. It's still Hawaii and everything is going relax and chill remember
Last weekend it was the Pan Pacific Festival. I will give you the link about what it is:http://www.pan-pacific-festival.com/Aboutus.html#history
The festival was very nice organized and there are a very large number of people from Japan. The activities of the festival are dance, food, parade, demonstration from different dances. The places were on different location, but still at the Waikiki area.
I haven't seen the nightlife in Honolulu yet. Maybe during my last week, I will check it out. The music (R&B / Hip Hop) isn't my thing to listen. As you know I'm a Trance-addict
In Hawaii, Trance music aren't that much. But I met some people on Internet. It was actually during the A State Of Trance 450 celebration begin of April. So I was hoping that they will know some spots that will have Trance music
Coming week is the sailboat trip to Molokai and Maui. But today, after 1 day sailing, I'm back in Honolulu. My biggest fear was: motion sickness. The waves became much stronger then I thought of and even I have swallowed a pill against motion sickness in the morning, I throw out twice So I can't continuing the situation to go sailing, otherwise it will be my torture sailboat trip and it won't be fun anymore.
So I have to figure out to choose Molokai or Maui. But the best choice should be Maui. But first recovery, cause I felt a bit dizzy.
Till the next message
