Nice not to have to drive far today so had a leisurely breakfast, sitting outside in the sun before heading off to reception to book a boat cruise for tomorrow. I noted you had to be at the port at 6:30am yay!
I also noticed a poster entitled “Be Shark Smart”, advising how to reduce the risk of “Negative interactions with Sharks” which I thought was rather like referring to a plane crash as “Unplanned Terrestrial Contact” as I remember reading in a model aeroplane magazine once! We then drove down to the car park near the port so we would know where to go in the morning and went for a nice stroll along the marina and the lagoon swimming pool. Had morning coffee down here and it was lovely. It was sunny and warm but not too crowded. I spotted a cruise ship timetable in the amenities block and noted that a cruise ship is due in tomorrow so might be a different story then! Visited Cedar Creek falls in the afternoon and drove to Shute Harbour before attending a spit roast put on by the caravan park complete with live music.

meredith balfe I heard a retrospective on "shark attacks" in Aus. They were not attacking us, looking for us, trying to intimidate us until the 1920s when we started swimming in their water where they feed more often, just saying! Keep enjoying and every moment!
Chris Waller Hope the cruise is fun. Mind the bities!!!
