A GREAT DAY

When we arrived at Dunham's wood we spoke to a lady who was on a table with some leaflets. Mum took a couple of them and we moved on. We went over and sat on a wooden , moss-covered bench and had our picnic. We had cheese and ham sandwiches,a small box of raisons,two apples and some jammydodgers alongside a bottle of water. Then we watched some people dance around a maypole and went to storytelling which mums old student called James ,who read THE GRUFFALO which was really fun. After that we made blood stones which are supposed to stop blood coming out when you're bleeding. We made smell which make things smell nice. Finally we played hide and seek and went home for tea and bed.

When we were playing hide and seek and I was counting, Mummy hung my jumper on a tree so I could fing her easily. George cheated because he said time out and there were no time out. I found a log cabin and hid from George. There was a giant octopus beside the maze.We chased George all around the wood.
