The first day in Singapore we got very depressed, there was a thunder storm and it rained all day, we didn't have an umbrella, so were forced to spend time in the shopping malls, but we have no money to spend, not a good combination, and we were both missing Oz, i think we felt if we weren't in Oz we just wanted to be at home!

The second day was much better, having got used to the time difference and with the sun breaking through the clouds we went down to the river and they was a big dragon boat festival so we sat and had a drink and lunch watching the races, was very fun, we then walked down the river and saw the Merlion and durian theatres, it started to get really hot which was great, we went to the hotel and got ready to go out visiting the Raffles hotel for singapore Sling and to chuck peanut shells on the floor - coz you just have too! we then went to the river and had a really nice meal.

Yesterday we went over to sentosa island, quite commercial almost like a theme park, we went with the idea of laying on the beach but it was thundering again! We lay there anyway! Had a not so nice indian for dinner, (Mum and dad we are craving shefford tandoori!!) then we gopt the cable car back to the main land had good views over the city, we also went on a Luge ride, which was very fun!

Today has been a day of killing time before our 11.30 flight back to good old England, We shall be seeing you all soon.
