The Whitsundays! Possibly the most amazing experience we've ever had! It's so unbelievable!
We booked it with a boat called the Atlantic Clipper and stayed there for 2 nights. The weather was gorgeous and we met so many cool people! All the guys working on the boat were also fab and made the trip even better. The boat has 2 slides off it, a smaller one and a massive inflatable one! There's a hot tub and a diving board too.
The first night was fab, we had so much fun but unfortunately I (Han) had hit the goon wall. I never thought the day would come but that will probably be my last night on goon for a very long time. We met loads of people and played games most of the night and we saw sharks at the side of the boat trying to catch fish!
Each morning we were woken up at 6am by one of the crew members singing up and down the corridor. It was actually crazy. That day we went to Whitehaven beach, one of the top 10 beaches in the world. The walk was a killer but the view was amazing and going down on to it afterwards was just incredible. Cam literally thought he'd gone to heaven. The sands were so white and soft and the sea is ridiculous. So many shades of blue! The sand there is made of 90% silica so you can literally brush your teeth with it. We looked so stupid but it actually worked.
The sea was so amazing, so soft and warm. We saw a stingray and loads of cute fishes. Unfortunately we have to wear stinger suits at all times whenever we go in the water because of the deadly jelly fish here. We got some cool photos there which you'll see. Waking up at 6am makes the day so much longer. By 11am we felt like we'd been there all day.
We then had lunch and went to a snorkel spot which was so cool. One guy had a pretty bad experience though and had to be dragged on the boat and resuscitated which was awful. Thankfully he's okay now though, he was even on his honeymoon! They then blew up the big slide which was fab.
The next morning we went to another snorkel spot which was even better. They have this humongous fish called Elvis that hangs around there. Like literally he's about the size of a sheep just flatter.
We met some amazing people, Tom, Kate and Sam were all fab. All English and we shared a room with Tom and Kate who are also a couple. We then ended up getting a room all together in Airlie beach which was pretty cool!
