Our Global Gallivants
Wednesday was supposed to be a rainy, thunderstorm day, so we decided to go to the movies. We wanted to see Deadpool. We got to the theatre at the local Largo mall in plenty of time to see that there was a lineup down a long flight of steps, across a wide sidewalk and then across the street! We are talking about the 1:20 matinee. Everybody in line was a senior and they were all there to either see Race, or Risen. Risen was sold out!. The box office is outside of the theatre, so you line up outside to buy your ticket and choose your seat. They rip your ticket when you get inside the door. Quite the cluster.....anyhow, the movie was funny. Quite a pleasant surprise that the theatre was huge and all the seats were big, comfy recliners with cup holders. Yesterday was just a grocery day and early dinner because I went to karate last night. More pounding on the already existing bruises. Had to make a pit stop on the way home to pick up some Epsom salts. Today's agenda is Walsingham Park. It's maybe a 5 minute drive from where we're staying. It's a pretty park with lots of trees and shade. The trails wrap around a small lake that reminded me of Mill Lake in Abottsford. Sensei Han and his wife Holly came over for dinner. We cooked them some Chinese food and it was a fun evening.

Val What the hell bea?!?
Luanne Are you crazy? That cannot be healthy!
Bea Ching I do bruise easily, and was already bruised on my right arm from previous week. Only 3 women at karate, so the 2 blue belts were paired up and I was with the instructor. More blocking drills, oh, oh. I think he's so used to banging with the guys that he doesn't realize...will be a different instructor on Monday.
Vera It's not healthy!!
