7th June Day 6 - topdeck Turkey Explorer. Today we have a long driving day to Fethiye. Hopped on the bus at 7am. Drove through plain countryside. Again noticing the lack of fences in the farm land. 6th June Day 5 - topdeck turkey explorer. Was good to have a later start this morning and catch up on some sleep. We left the hotel at 9am and headed to a pottery place to watch a demonstration. The river that flow through this town brings with it a lot of clay soil from the mountains which is idea for using in pottery. 5th June Day 4 - Turkey explorer topdeck. Was a very early start ... Up at 4 am ready to leave for the ballooning at 430am ! We set off but stopped for a light breakfast snack on the way to the launch sight. We arrived at the site in the gorgeous valley with the fairy chimneys. 4th June. Day 3- topdeck turkey explorer. Work up early again. The sun is so bright at 530am and my eyes just pop open! Short tour of Ankara is on the cards today. Talked briefly about the history of turkey gaining independence in 1923 and the man that was the first prime minster o the country was kemel Ataturk. We visited the monument to him. 3rd June Day two - topdeck turkey explorer. Woke up super early maybe due to the really bright sun. Enjoyed a nice breakfast out on an open deck. This hotel has a great view over the old city with ayaspohia so close we can almost touch it. Checked out of the hotel and meet our guide for the next 10 days for a walking tour.
