29th June- Way way to early to get up this morning... The alarm went off at 345am! Checked out at 4am, put a bag in storage an walked up to syntagma square to get the bus to the airport ( bus 95 runs every 20 or so mins take around 45 mins to get to airport). 27th June- Heading out to the ancient site of Olympia early this morning which is great as you avoid the crowds and heat. We meet our guide at the gate and she walked us through the site explaining ancient Greece and stories of the building ruins around us. The athletes came from all over Greece's city states a month before the games to Olympia where they lived and trained before competing in the games naked in front of up to 50 000 people.
