The first explorers to the Seychelles thought they'd found the true Garden of Eden, I thought I'd found heaven on earth. A true paradise! I didn't believe places like this existed. In such a short space of time I have seen beautiful exotic animals like the palm spider, giant tortoises, giant land snails, marine fish, hermit crabs and much more. I was amazed and delighted to see a Gecko literally feet away from us.
The sea is tranquil azure blue, porcelain white powder sands, pure peace and quiet.
Constance Ephilia is our first stop for 6 nights. It's stunning, the staff bend over backwards to serve you.
Last night we were invited to have cocktails with the management set beside a romantically lit pool. We quickly downed our drinks and sauntered to our buffet.
On the menu, a generous choice of foods from cold salad, pasta to pizza and Chinese to Indian. The food is presented beautifully and tastes even better.
This place has totally over whelmed me, I'm like a giddy child, fascinated with everything and totally thankful and grateful to my fiancée for making it possible.
After dinner we walked back to our villa, prepared for an early night but it was after 3 bottles of wine that we decided to turn in.
We had no intention of getting up, we kept the curtains open to allow us to see the stunning scenery when we woke.
I got up and ventured to the pool, it was fecking freezing but amazing.
At around 0930 am we decided to go for breakfast, again, totally amazing. Little exotic birds joining us at the table, just amazing with the sound of the ocean and the panoramic views.
Later we went for a walk to Suss out a good place for our wedding, we walked through a conservation area, loads of stunning unusual wildlife. North beach was much busier, the sea looked magnificent, turquoise blue.
I'm keeping this brief now....
We eventually found our wedding spot, just diagonal from our villa, beautiful.
Watch this space for more ...
