goodbye to the old, hello to the new . . .
Up and out I headed for a walk to the mbk centre with a d tour through china town, where I purchased the four changeable lense gegs for me father, it was a must on my list to do as he had seen some on the island, my advice was leave it 'til the mainland, where they for some reason don't exist!
Mbk was huge, I just was lost, I kept getting stuck on a floor where escalators decided just not to exist.
By the time I headed back, I bought some new shorts and some t-shirts, also flip flops as mine got broken when I got my foot entangled in metal wire on my mbk walk and ripped my flip flop, I know I know I'm a dafty.
So I'm now a khao san road kitted out chic. My parentals will be pleased with the change of image as they think I look like an indian street kid and act like one!
I ventured at 3 to my first thai boxing class. I love it, I'm going to get addicted. I now have a sore on my knuckles where the wraps and gloves rubbed as I went a bit crazy on the pads and bags. My whole right shin is bruised due to kick the pads repeatedly full force many a times and from elbows I reopened my arm wound. So I'm looking fabulous. Oh and I also have carpet burns and bruises on my knees from 5mins of kneeing the bags.
So when I went out drinking I was surprised 3people were willing to talk to such a wreck. They were great fun, a couple Jessica (Canadian) and Davey. And Davey's mate Allie who originally are from Iran I believe, they were both boxers. They paid for my whole night, so I have never drank so much beer and shots of vodka in my whole life. I learned their traditional dance - Azerbijan dance, my new party trick! So the night came to an end when no more drink could be drank, no more pool could be played and no more dancing could be done. It was farewell and goodnight. xx
