Ellie - pants . . .
I ended my night last night by chilling out reading my book, being unsociable avoiding the irish guy who keeps trying to chat me up. Again not a great sleep but I feel plenty rested.
Early morning rise with breakfast at 7ish, packed, a trip into town for a water run and then picked up at 9 and dropped at the office where I sat playing on the net trying organise my gorilla trek and transport from uganda to nairobi. Its looking like an overnight bus, something to look forward to. Plus a couple extra nights with the uganda kids, aren't they lucky. And got some Accommodation booked for my spare night that needed sorting. And I keep popping out for walks around, only little walks so I darent go far as they kept saying just 30minutes while I was waiting, 4 and a half hours later, I'm still waiting so been dropped at a cafe to get dinner while waiting for the rest of the group. I wish I had known and I coulda sat by the pool all this time. As the group I am joining seems to have multiplied in numbers, and are coming from mt kenya area, but they went to see something this morning, which I believed was organised and they knew about so a 9am pick up, was just silly really. I suppose this must be the kenyan way.
So when the people got on the bus it turned out it was the three guys who where sitting on the table next to me at dinner. Six in total. Me and rod hit it off a guy whose from london and we chatted on the drive down to amboseli park. Near the camp site we got to see giraffes before seeing the sun set to the side of mt kil.
It was late so we ended up getting shown the tents and having our tea.. The sky was amazing, the stars I thought were just so pretty and seemed so low especially later into the night/morning when I would pop out my tent naked to grab a wee at the tent side. I tried to take a photo but failed miserably and only managed to get a horrendous pic of the moon where I moved and have 3moons in one pic.xx
