Okay flight delay by at least 2 hours so is a very long wait although we did have two sleeping beauties. We let them sleep for as long as possible.

When we finally got on the plane and we were in the air our breakfast was served. Ok, so it wasn't perfect but was certainly edible that will do for me.

Kids were amazingly well behaved, doing their puzzle books and sticker books, they kept them very busy. Sights were amazing from the plane, we were right on the wing, we had very little turbulence at all. What was I worried about? 9 and a half hours in the air felt much safer than 5 hours on the ground on a coach lol x

Customs was exceptionally well organised and despite being warned the security officers don't smile - after being instructed to do his fingerprints Liam was told not once but TWICE that he was in desperate need of a haircut!! Haha x told you Liam!!

Another hour's wait to pick up our car - pick from any of those 5 she said... oooooer so we picked a beautiful black SUV (like a Jeep). Free booster seat for Harrison and off we went - Rich let loose on American roads!!! OK so he did try to knock a few vehicles off the road (unsuccessful) and we had a few AAARRRGGGHHHH's as he remembered which side he was meant to drive on but hey ho could I do any better? Probably not lol x

Got to our apartment at Lake Buena Vista Village and Spa. Wow!! Fantastic rooms, fully equipped kitchen, washer and tumbler, our own en suite and pool view. So, according to Norton tradition, in the pool we went!!

After a quick dip we went to Frankie Gerald's Ferrals for food. Fantastic food. Liam - best burger ever he said. Luke - hot dog, not impressed, he doesn't like frankfurter sausages, Rich - club sandwich, Kerry - Caesar salad with grilled chicken mmmmm yummy and Harrison - sausage and mash, by far the best sausage and mash ever!! We all crashed out within 5 minutes of our heads touching the pillows! Well, bit of a white lie as Harrison and I fell asleep at the table before our dinner arrived lol x
