In Berlin! Rainy weather, but very excited to be in the German capital. Checked in last night and watched part of the England-Ukraine game on the rooftop patio before going to bed a bit early due to our battling of colds. This morning, had a scrumptious breakfast before going to the Deutsches Technikmuseum. Parting day today. Said goodbye to my girlfriend Nina, as we took her to the airport and saw her safely to her plane. Said goodbye to Prague, boarding a train to Berlin in mid afternoon. Over the past week, we've both really enjoyed the city, and a big part of this is because of our incredible travel companion, Nina, who flew halfway around the world to experience the city with us. Last full day in Prague. Took pictures in front of and atop the astronomical clock and tower in the Old Town Square. Beautiful view of the Stare Mesto (Old Town). Got souvenirs after, for ourselves and our families. Once again, spent the afternoon in the park. The 31 degree heat was stifling, so we were happy to use Prague's ample green space. Got up today and took the elevator up the viewpoint on the TV Tower. The structure stands tall over the surrounding buildings and offers a gorgeous view of the entire city, although it was under construction. Found the Prague Market after and bargained with a lot of Vietnamese (!) before getting a Prague t-shirt for Pierre and a Czech soccer shirt for Myles. The afternoon was spent in a park, enjoying home made mojitos and trying to beat the heat.

Slept in late today before making our way to Prague Castle. Sitting high up on a hill overlooking the city, the Castle is a very interesting and very large place to visit and explore, especially its cathedral, St Vitus'. Very crowded, and very hot, so we made our way through the crowds to the view points of the city before finding a less warm pub to relax and have a few beers.
