Dropped sis of at the airport and took the red eye to Buffalo NY. It's damp and hot. At the moment it's 11.59pm and it's still 27 degrees….. the humidity…. arrrggghhh….. and we're hiking through Toronto with our back pack to the bus station…….. Anyway….. bus is totally packed and we are crossing the border to the states in a couple of hours.
We've landed a new host in West Virginia so that's where we are headed. It's quite a trip. It will almost take 24 hours to get there. Going to get some sleep people….
At the border everything went fine. No hassle or what so ever. Good to go and back in the US. We've had a bit of a wait at Buffalo downtown but got to meet some very nice Amish people who were visiting family in Pennsylvania. some more sleep on our way to Cleveland on the bus. Weather is getting bad. Lots of rain and thunderstorms. Outside it's still hot and humid. Will I ever get used to this. I'm more of a 23 degree kind of girl. Add a little breeze and I'm feeling on top of the world. This is really too much people.
In Cleveland we had a choice between a shady restaurant at the bus terminal or one down the street of whom we couldn't determine what it exactly was. Obviously we chose the one down the street. When we entered new found ourselves in a real German bierstubbe mit bradwurst, schnitzel und ein biergarten. Heaven on earth for dad! None of the waiters there spoke German…. We tried but they just looked at us as if we just landed from Mars or something……
Anyway, the weather seems to be picking up. It's halfway through the evening and we are on the last stretch by bus headed towards Parkersburg West Virginia. When we arrive, Carl will pick us up and we wil drive for an hour or so to his farm in Harrisville where we will be staying the next couple of weeks. So, we'll keep you posted. I'm going to enjoy my view.

Roelien Mooie verhalen en wat geweldig om zo een beetje mee te kunnen leven. Heel veel plezier en succes de komende weken in West-Virginia - Take me home, country roads...
