second day HCMC

We got up to a huge breakfast buffet so we filled ourselves and headed to the Chinatown area to see the 3 Pogodas there. The first and second were great very colourful and there we loads of worshippers there so very atmospheric. We took loads of pictures good stuff. Then we headed to the tourist shopping area and found ourselves in a mall with hundreds of DVDS. Very cheap too, so we bought loads I spent 24 euro and got over 60 films how cool oh and the whole series of family guy.

After this spending spree (where George spent nearly 50 euro on dvds) we headed to the tourist info centre to get a map so we could find stuff as the maps have all changed annoying (dont take everything Lonely Planet says as gospel cos it aint). We found ourselves and beauty place which does buy one get one free. We got a taxi there cos it started raining. When we got there the offer had ended. This shop we were in was very exclusive and posh but when we looked at the list of things they do which was only 3 we found the facials were only about 14 euro so we both got a facial and it was unbelievable. Thann is the name of the place go there unreal. After this we headed to get coffee and found out there is a way bigger cinema then the Diamond Plaza so we headed there to find all the films on were the same and we had seen them.

We carried on to the computer street and George was like a child at christmas he bought so much software. End of the day we realised that we had done everything that there is to do in the city.
