Well and truly acclimatised now. We have been exploring Inca ruins for the past two days which always includes a lot of walking and climbing. Absolutely fascinating culture, we have learned a lot and find it all very interesting.

Cusco is a vibrant busy town with great food. There is much to explore. The people are keen to sell there handcrafts, some of which are really beautiful, but they are not too bothersome.

We have had some rain at 1.00pm each afternoon but get sunburnt each morning and this evening it is bucketing down

We leave at 5.20 in the morning for the trail so will be out of touch for a few days.
