We started the day with a walk up to Genoa Peak. It was a 2 hour return trip with most of it being a slight incline and getting steep at the end. A two hour bush walk also meant we had a 2 hour conversation with our chatterbox Zach! He never runs out of things to say when we’re walking. It was shaded almost all the way which was great. We ended up camping at a great free camp at Marlay Point Yacht Club on Lake Wellington. This is just a short drive from Sale. We had a waterfront spot and it was great to spend the afternoon relaxing listening to music with great views.
With Matt back at home to do his final test for his contractors license, it was just myself and the boys in Melbourne. Nothing interesting to report today, we just baked some brownies taking advantage of the oven here that we don't get too often and did some cleaning in preparation for leaving Melbourne tomorrow.
