This morning we went to Florence Falls and had a swim in another beautiful spot. Then just for curiosity we thought we would drive through the Florence Falls campgrounds. They have a 2wd and 4wd accessed campgrounds of which I think Florence Falls 2wd was my favourite of all in Litchdfield. Today we did the 4wd track down to see a few sights. The first detour to the Lost City was not a bad road, it just had some corrugations. We took the short walk around the rocks making the lost city and it was quite interesting to see all the different shaped rocks. After driving back to the main road and again taking another 4wd track we shortly reach a water crossing. It was quite long but had a depth marker so we saw we could drive through it fine. ...

It felt like a mission leaving Darwin this morning. Driving out the boomgate 5min before they lock us in we dropped by the first caravan we stayed to have a drink and let the kids wear off some energy on the jumping pillow before going on our drive. This was all good until we went to leave and the car wouldn't start. It sounded like a battery problem and because Super Cheap Auto was just a few hundred meters down the road, we took the battery out and walked it do...

Our last full day at Darwin and the weather is near perfect once again. We headed to the city to enjoy some time at the wave pool. They apparently can make 10 different waves...we saw about 4 in the time we were there. The water was a nice temperature and it was great for the kids with also having a shallow section behind. In the park next door there was a free inflatable waterslide so Zach had some turns at that before we went back to a camper for a rest. ...

Today we went to Leanyer Water Park which was free. They had 3 water slides, a splash zone, a large pool as well as cascading pools. Zach went on the waterslide with Matt in one of those double boats and he LOVED IT! In the afternoon we also dropped by Howard Springs which also had some cascading pools (again cold), a park and a lake.
