Hello!!... didn't i ramble on in the last blog...so much to tell you and just not enough time! Will keep the updates a little bit shorter from now on!
...I left you at the start of my 3 day trek...
The hill tribes were amazing to see, also went to an orchid and butterfly farm (although couldnt find any blue ones for Nan!! ) the rest of the day involved some of the hardest trekking i have EVER done!! I thought i was going to collapse within seconds of starting it!... the steepest mountain in the HOTTEST midday heat made it almost impossible to do!...one Korean guy didnt last 2 minutes and got a lift on a scooter to the top! cheat!! hehe!! Anyway the waterfall stops and rests evry five min helped alot and by dinner we all made it to the top and settled into our little hut at the top of the mountain! ....It was SO peacefull i cant describe it in words... all you could hear were the kids in the village playing, smell our food cooking and look at the stunning views! No cars, no street lights, no electric!
Dinner was yummy our guide cooked and in return we showed him how to cook marshmallows on sticks! he loved it!....next was a quick night of beers and songs round the camp fire....(im a real hippy traveller now! ) at about 9 we all thought it was about 12 (SO tired and nothing but natural light confuses you a bit!) but we still hit the hay so we could get up bright and early and get trekking back down the mountain!
