Day 13
We tested the boat yesterday, but still not working right, Engineers back today and came with us to test it. They changed all the filters. We decided it was ok to move on. We packed up and left. We knew the sea was 1.5meters high, but it would only be to the end of the point and then once we turned the corner twent back o Puerto Pollensa we would be going with the waves. It was quite rocky and not very pleasant at all. Mary and Marcus were downstairs and me Nigel and the boys upstairs. Liam loved it the rougher the better! Once we turned it was much better. When at the bay i went downstairs Mary and Marcus said everything went flying in the boat and Mary was flying back to Alicante!! We got to a bay just outside of Pollensa where we could pick up a mooring buoy. We usually have fun trying to pick up these but luckily they have staff working here that come out to help. We were going to stay on the mooring for the evening. We got ourselves sorted, Mary and Marcus had to have a Brandy to calm their nerves. We took the tender into the beach for a couple of hours, I've never been to such a busy beach that we couldn't even lay down. We went back to the boat and the boys wanted to get the doughnut out. They had lots of fun on it. Liam wanted to try waterskiing, we only have adults skis and they were to big for him so Nigel had a go. We were on the boat in hysterics. He did manage to get up for about 10 seconds. We had an evening of looking at photos that Liam had taken. Tomorrow we are hoping to get to either Soller or Santa Ponca depending on the sea.
