So i met Alice in our hostel . It was a great girly huggy moment. Our hostel is great, with breakdfast and a kitchen, computers and a laundry.
That evening we walked around our area looking for food and ended up in bed exhausted and hungry-having failed.
The next day after breakfast we headed down the exciting, rambunctous street of Las Ramblas. There were piles of animals on sale - birds, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, chameleons.... we got some delicious juice from a market and headed further down the street. At 11.30 we joined a walkling tour throught the old city. That was very interesting, full of anecdotes. At the end of the tour we had a beer and lemonade drink and chatted to the others. Then we headed off for a bit of shopping in this district. Then it was 5pm and we went to the beatiful gothic church in the old city. It was decorated unbelievably like all gothic churches, but this one had a courtyard in it with geese and palm trees!!
Anyway, tonight we dined on bread cheese, olives , capsicum and sangria. Then a huge group of french, americans, germans and brasilians, alice and I chatted together and shared some absinthe. filthy stuff. and im still awake now at 3 in the morning. might go to bed now

OMG it was so hot today i almost died.
