Liz & Chris Silver Wow what a fantastic journey. We did not know you had a blog until Pat told me on the phone last night, I stayed up late and read it all. Sorry we are not very tech minded us older ones. In Venice do not eat or drink in St Marks Square the prices are unbelievable the restaurants in the back streets are much cheaper. Hope to see you at Michele's. In Vien the prices are OK in most places. We shall be following you both from now on.
re: 38 Christmas time in Chiang MaiFiona Kon'nichiwa. How lovely the people from Tokyo are welcoming & helpful, they put us to shame. Not sure about the raw egg & noodles, your braver than me! The hotel seems the same size as the caravan that Grandma had in her garden, even looks the same inside ! Go & explore & I shall await your next chapter xx mum
re: 11 Kon'nichiwa Land of the Rising SunFiona I really can't believe that you've been away for two weeks already! Your blogs are packed with interesting info, photos & reassurance for us all left behind. Every day your experiencing new cultures and environments, what an amazing adventure your having so far. Once again, take care of each other and I'll await part two of you amazing tales as you travel around Japan . Luv ya xxxx
re: 10 Heading to the next countryAndy Khan Well done for being so adventurous. It's easy to judge your enviroment instantly but you seemed determined to enjoy Sri Lanka and discovered it's a beautiful place with amazing people. I'm sure you'll have wonderful memories and photos of course. xx
re: 10 Heading to the next countryDeborah Whinray Lovely to read your latest blog! Sounds like you are going to really miss sri lanka and especially the lovely people you have met! Looking forward to hearing about your next adventure in Japan! Sending lots of love, take care, love mum and Dad xxxx

re: 8 Exploring the Hill Countrymum and Dad What a wonderful day you have had! The falls look absolutey beautiful, how lovely to drink fresh coconut water whilst sat enjoying the view! A shame about the young girls! Very disrespectful of them! Your hotel sounds nice especially with a veranda to sit and relax on, a bit different from your balcony in Reigate! I was thinking of you earlier as I had to put a massive spider outside, it was on my jumper that I had over the radiator! I shook it onto the floor and milo just stared at it ( no help whatsoever) it ran onto his bedding near the door so I was very brave and picked his bedding up and threw it out in the garden- hoping it doesn't return! Have you seen any spiders yet? hope not x nice to meet the German couple, there's hope for me and dad then! It's lovely to hear that you are enjoying your travels, hope you have a good day tomorrow climbing Adams peak! Xxxx

re: 5 Sigiria Lion RockFiona Hi Nic & Matt, You are so brave & thankfully you are as it seems you found something real interesting, pleased to hear that your new hotel is cool & comfortable. Yesterday I spent the whole day displaying my pottery and hanging pictures using an extremely fiddley wire hanging system, and today I took the guys to see their work on show. Feeling proud. Looking forward to your next update. Sending lots of love xxxxxx
