Things I Have Learnt.......

• I have no concept of distance, or how big some countries actually are

• Time waits for no one, more so when you're having fun

• I talk to myself. A lot

• No matter how hard I tried, I can't sing like Robbie Williams

• When you're in a car on your own on the open road, you couldn't care less if you can't sing like Robbie Williams

• I like my own company but can't make decisions

• I missed everything I thought I wouldn't and nothing that I thought I would

• Behind every scar is a story/memory

• Blogging on your iPhone gives you RSI in your thumbs

• Koalas stink

• Not knowing where you are staying one day to the next is a strange but exciting feeling

• I cannot describe the feeling of freedom you get when driving in New Zealand, especially when the sun is shining

• I prefer New Zealand to Australia

• Taking yourself out of your comfort zone every now and then makes you a better person

• I appreciate the smaller things in life that I took for granted before I left

• I have made some amazing life long friends, even after a such a short time

• Moving from place to place and living out of a bag becomes a way of life, but not one I could live for a long period of time

• I don't like cows bottoms. Or the stuff that comes out of them

• Getting up early in the morning is so much easier when you are enjoying life

• When you're happy, not even rain can bring you down

• My pj shorts were definitely too short

• I drive too fast round corners, even when they display the recommended speed

• Live every day as if it's your last because one day it will be

• We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time

• Dream. Believe. Achieve

• Communal bathrooms can actually be quite nice

• Sydney A&E was so much better, cleaner, nicer, friendlier than any in England

• My first set of stitches weren't as scary as I thought they would be but my 100% no injury record has now gone

• Coach songs can give you goosebumps and bring back hundreds of memories

• I wish Jade and I at least lived in the same country

• How to budget. Very quickly

• You don't always need the best things in life to have a good time

• Junk food is quicker and cheaper than healthy food

• There is so much more to life

• Most Americans and Canadians need a mute button. Or even better, an off button

• Luging is awesome fun

• Photos from places are expensive but you can't put a price on memories

• A break from certain things in life makes you question if you really need them at all

• I quite like aeroplane food

• Sleeping in a swag under the stars was the night I feared most but turned out to be one of the best

• I probably didn't call home as much as I should've done. Never mind

• Jade steals chargers and adapters and hides them in her suitcase

• I'm still s*** at picking presents

• I may need a holiday to get over my travelling. Definitely a week off before I think about working at least

• Doing what you've always wanted to do is the best feeling in the world and knowing you had the balls to do it on your own is just as good

• I want a jet boat of my own

• I enjoyed surfing, despite hurting myself

• I always get my hair caught in the travel hair dryer, even after taking the piss out of Jade for doing it

• You can sleep when you're dead

• My Uncle Andrew should go into motivational speaking

• My cousin Zak is an actual real life Dennis the Menace

• This was my first trip, but won't be my last
