The last few days have been interesting. We played our last stream of gigs in the Czech republic. We have been traveling and I was pretty tired after our last two gigs outside of Prague. They were cool gigs- one at a cultural center and one at a small underground jazz club.

The day before we left for our little trip I went to Prague castle. It was an amazing experience to see such a historical building. Wow! I was at the St.Vitus Cathedral which is situated on the castle grounds. The architecture was simply amazing. The attention to detail on all the buildings on the grounds is ridiculous. (just like the entire city!) I really enjoyed having a solo mission. After checking out the castle I walked down a long hill in one of the oldest parts of the city. It was fascinating- so gothic and stuff. It's really hard to believe that people took the time to build such amazing things.

I have a few days free and I'm going to check out the holocaust area in Czech republic as well as the Charles bridge which was built in the 1200's- super old! It's the second oldest bridge in Czech. I've been told that you can feel the dark vibe of the holocaust area when you arrive there- I think it will be a good thing to see though. I think the area is called Terezin. I'm curious to see how it will make me feel. I've always wanted to see one of these areas as I find the whole Holocaust thing fascinating( not in some sick way) and very interesting. I've always wanted to know why and how people could do such terrible things to other human beings, well at least in the psychology behind it. Anyhoo, not gonna get into it now. Guess I'll just have to see

Im excited to go to Belgium on Wednesday and then from there to Italy. We are driving though-10 hours! Driving sucks but I think it will be fun.

I won't lie, I miss home a bit- more the special people in my life. I think this experience couldn't have come at a better time and I'm so inspired by all that has happened.
