After arriving safely in Sydney we booked into a youth hostel, which was situated right in the town centre, right next to China Town. We were starving so we went straight out and had Chinese food. After that it was time to head down to the harbour and explore. We took a boat out to the Sydeny Opera House and the Bridge. We stopped and had a beer at a smart bar outside the Opera House and watched an incredible sunset. In the evening we watched a movie in the hostel and got an early night, for some reason all four of us were really bombed out.

The following morning was my last with the guys. We wandered around downtown Sydney, and around 11 I said goodbye. I was really sad to leave Tom, Joel and Brennan as we had had such a good laugh the last 5 weeks. Nevertheless, I was on my way to the next stage of my travels.

The journey up to Brisbane was easy and my family were at the airport waiting to pick me up. I was to spend the night with Nick and Alex Daunt, my mum's cousins, who have a great house right on the Brisbane river. I spent the evening chilling out, we had a bbq and a few beers and Becky (their daughter) had her friends round. By ten I was nearly falling asleep again so I took advantage of a comfy bed and went to sleep. Next time I will be at the golf academy, but I cannot type about that now because I am using a French keyboard, and this has taken me about an hour to type, with a lot of swearing involved. I have had enough.
