Neither of us got much sleep lastnight so the early morning didn't bother us, we were just happy to get outside where it was cooler than our room!

Used the same taxi driver again and at 0715 made our way to the Pier. We will also be needing to get a ferry to Ao Nang in a few days so we bought an open ticket that we use to get to Phi Phi today and can use in a few days to get to Ao Nang - it cost 1000 Baht each.

We got free tean and coffee and croissant on the boat - food at last! Nick was feeling abit better and his temperature had gone which was good. The ferry took about 2 hours, I spent sometime outside as was feeling sea sick, was nice to get some fresh air and of course it was great views.

There were two stops on our ferry, one to Phi Phi Leh and the other (ours) to Phi Phi Don. Phi Phi Leh is a National Park and is uninhabited - it is for day trips only. When we were pulling up to Phi Phi Leh there was the most beautiful beach, I took some photos. When I went back in and sat down Nick asked if I heard the announcement outside - I didn't and they'd said that that beach was Maya Bay, where "The Beach" was filmed. If Nick feels better we might get a taxi boat there one day.

When we finally got to Phi Phi Don we could see our hotel, Phi Phi Hotel, as we came into the pier so made our way to check in. You had to pay more for a sea view room so we opted for mountain view but you could still see the sea (bonus!!). Standard room, quite big. Hotel has a great pool and we are in a perfect location on the island.

Nick's tummy begun to play up again, we had taken a walk and got some lunch and the plan was to go to the beach but we thought it was best to go to the hotel pool instead so Nick was closer to our hotel room!! It was lovely sunbathing and swimming - lots of Germans here lol.

Once the sun had gone we went for showers then went for some dinner. The town was so quiet and peaceful, it was lovely. I had the most gorgeous Malibu and pineapple!! Yum! Came back to the hotel and are now off to bed, should sleep well as for once we have a comfy bed
