I was up early at 7.00. Then after breakfast which consisted of tea, mongolian bread and an egg cooked by the mum. I was taken off in the minibus to Terej National park with a few others. My guide was called Soffa.
We stopped off and I had a go at riding a camel and holding a big eagle. The landscape is amazing with endless meadows with hills and rocks. We spopped of at Gers camp to have lunch (rice and mutton in a dumpling).
It was now rainig very hard and I was taken off a did some horse riding. We rode off to a small buddhsit temple.
Then I had the chance to try fermented mares milk. It's an acquired taste and is very sour. I was offered lots of food and drink and it was hard to refuse.
Then we visited the Chinggis Khan staue complex. Then i was taken to the camp where I would spend the night.
There were a few others staying there as wel with whom I shared a Gers tent. Dinner consisted of rice and sheeps head. Then I sat with family and drank some more fermented amres milk.
The toilet was a long drop about 500 metres from the camp which in the dark was quite a mission to get to.
