Well, Here it is, the last entry from merry old England.
By the way, in the photo, the boy at the front is Max (maximillian) who is 6, and the one on my shoulder is Johannes who is 4. This is one of the days when they are nice, few and far between.
So, in only 10 days, I say farewell to Europe, and return to the land of fast food, and camps. I fly out of Heathrow Sat June 7, and then am in NYC for that night, before I bus it up to Maine and onto camp. Then I spend two days doing a sailing clinic (yes, I am teaching sailing at camp, the idea scares me too), and then another week before pre-camp orientation starts. Who knows what I will be doing in that middle week, but I'm sure there will be jobs for me to do. Then campers arrive mid june, and stay until August 19. Following their departure there is another camp starting for underprivileged kids, which goes for a week, which I am considering doing, depending on how over camp I am by then. (and how much money I have). So, the countdown is on. But has been for a while.
Currently, I am trying to organise my stuff, what I want to throw out, send home, take with me etc, and it is proving a difficult task. I seem to have accumulated a lifetimes worth of junk in the 8 months I have been here. Hopefully I wil be brave enough to trash most of it.
Well, See you all too soon in my opinion.
