Hi All, I'm in Cairns now (WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE), got here yesterday, but thought I would give you an update to let you know what I did in the Northern Terriroty. Spent three days in Darwin, oh my go how hot was it!!. Went to a Botanic Gardens which was really pretty, but I was really hot and got really freaked out cos I thought something which might bite me was going to fall on my head (Sky Dive no problem, spiders a problem!!). Went to Kakadu National Park, but didn't get to see any Crocs, so was a bit disappotined! Did get to see a Dingo and Wallabies though. Spent a couple of days in Alice Springs at a really lovely place called Heavitree Gap, where I got to feed the wallabies. Went on a Camel Ride through the dessert which was quite awesome, my camel was called Trevor. Went to Ayres Rock, and went to see the sunset. It wasn't quite what I expected, but I can say that i've done it. Believe it or not, I met meet Hayley from Corination Street because she was on the same trip as me, she was really nice (this is now my claim to fame!!). Going to puts some more pics on later and will update you with the next part of my trip, I've only been in Cairns for once day, and already i don't want to leave.
