Hello everybody. Well I've been to Cairns and am now in Megnectic Islands. Well what can I say, I love it. Cairns was just the best place i've been so far. Stayed in a really nice hostel called Bohemia Resort, and it was just like a hotel, had four wicked days there! Went out on a Introdoctory Dive to the Outer Reef with Quicksilver, and after I freaked out cos I found it really hard to breath through, a really nice chinese lady took me down on my own (what a wimp!!!!). It was just awesome, I saw loads of Nemo fish, the coral and colours of the fish were just out of this world, a wicked experience. Oh and I looked well sexy in my lycra stinger vest (it's stinger season out here)!!!!. We then went to Cape Tribulation for a couple of days, and oh my god how much did it rain, proper torrential (not sure if that's spelt right!!) rain. It was a pain cos I didn't get to lay on the beach, but I found it really facinating cos I've never seen rain quite this hard. We stayed in a hostel in the Rain Forest which was wicked, but I kept freaking out cos I thought I had a snake in my bed (this was after I saw one sliver by me in the rain, and it wasn't small!!). Yesterday we spent the day in Mission Beach and this is where it all started to go wrong, we stayed in a really nice hostel in the rainforest, but I have been bitten like I've never been bitten before (Jane, I even had your repellant on, they just really liked me, which I don't blame them!!!!). At 5am this morning I woke up with a really puffy eye, and guess what if anybody is going to have a allergic reaction it's me!!!. Had to go to the Medical Centre this morning, and $80 later I have anti-histamines and lots of bite cream. Anyway, shouldn't moan to much, cos I am on the other side of the world and don't have to work like the rest of you!!!!!!. Apart from this small hickup, I'm having such a wicked time. Missing everybody at home though! Spending a couple of days in Magnectic Island now, and we're going to hire a really small jeep tomorrow and drive around the island, which should be really cool.
